Chairman
Mr. Nasir-ur- Rahman Sinha a leading Pharmaceutical Industrialist of Bangladesh was born in Dhaka in 1940 with Cerebral Palsy. Despite his physical impairment Mr. Sinha could obtain his
post-graduate
degree in ‘Political Science' after hard struggle from the University of Dhaka in 1965.
He started his career as a businessman and an industrial entrepreneur. He is the proprietor of Sinha & Co.

a Corporate Member of Dhaka Stock Exchange Ltd. He is the Managing Director of National Equities and Financial Promoters Ltd. He is also the Managing Director of Business Automation Ltd. a software company. He has established a modern printing press and a food processing industry. Currently he is the Chairman of the Acme Laboratories Ltd. a leading pharmaceutical company of the country.
Mr. Sinha is a widely traveled person. He visited many countries of the world including the USA, the UK, China, Soviet Russia, India, Greece, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand and Nepal.
He is associated with a number of educational institutions. He is also a patron of different sports and cultural organizations.

Vice Chairman
Prof. Ahmed Hussain is a renowned academician of the country. He worked for several colleges including country’s one of the best educational institutions Govt. MC University college of Sylhet. He was the Chairman and Professor of the Physics department of the same college. He has retired from his previous job recently. At present he is taking active part in different social welfare and development organizations. He is working as the Country Adviser of the US based philanthropic organization the OPTIMIST. He received his B.S.C (Hons.) and M.S.C. Degree in Physics from the University of Dhaka in the year in the year 1964 and 1965 respectively. He is the founder Chairman of Jalalabad Teachers’ Training College, Sylhet. He is also the Vice-Chairman of Shahjalal Jamiae-Islamia School and College, Sylhet. Mr. Ahmed took part number of training programs including a three months training in the USA conducted by the USAID.

Executive Director
Ms. Khandokar Cowsar Zahan Tasmina , a social activist and businessperson working with several development and business organizations. She was born in Dhaka. After being awarded University degree in English, she got involved with number of social development organizations including Child and Woman Rights Society (CWRS). At present she is given responsibility to overseeing operations of the Salvation for the Deserving (SFD) as Executive Director. She paid several overseas visits including UK. Ms. Tasmina is also shouldering the responsibility of the President of Rotaract Club of Dhaka North, District 3280, Dhaka, Bangladesh. She is also a Breast Cancer abstract submitter to Canada and Urban Health abstract submitter to Boston University, USA

Finance Director
A. H. Tawfique Ahmed, Director Finance, SFD is a former Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank (Central Bank of the country) currently working as Secretary General of the Institute of Bankers, Bangladesh. After obtaining his
post graduate
degree in Sociology from the University of Dhaka he started his career in the erstwhile Pakistan Academy for Rural Development (now BARD, Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development), under the able leadership of famous social reformer Dr. Akhter Hamid Khan. Later he joined State Bank of Pakistan as Asst. Chief Officer and served in various capacities for 31 years. He also served as Managing Director, Security Printing Corporation of Bangladesh.

Organizing Secretary
Mr. Jahidul Hasan Mitul is Co-Founder and Executive Director of Business Automation ltd. He has done his graduation from the University of Dhaka. Mr. Mitul has been involved in various ICT development initiatives in Bangladesh. He is the Chairman of BASIS Standing Committee on ICT4Development. Before starting Business Automation he served as IT consultants for several organizations including MNATRAD NV in Belgium
Mr. Mitul is a widely traveled person. He visited many countries of the world including the USA, the UK, China, Germany, Sweden, Finland, India, Belgium, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand and Malaysia.

Advisory Council
Mr. Abu Taleb Miah
Mr. Abu Taleb Miah, an educationalist with huge teaching and administrative experience had started his career as a lecturer in political science. He duly obtained his academic degrees in Political Science from country's one of the Premier educational alma mater Dhaka University. Over the time, he gained vast experience over different capacities. Beside his duty as an academician, he is also involved in administrative capacities e.g., Deputy Director (Planning and Training), Bureau of Non-Formal Education (BNFE). Mr. Taleb has received several national and overseas trainings. He does also have a huge training facilitation experience. Mr. Taleb was born in 1961 and he is involved with different non-political social development initiatives.
Prof. Md. Delower Hussain
Prof. Md. Delower Hussain is a veteran academician of Bangladesh and was born in the year 1947. He used to head one of the most prestigious university Colleges of the country namely Eden University College, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He does have about 36 years of teaching experience in various famous public colleges of the country. He also used to be question setter and moderator of different education boards of the country, examine of Dhaka Board, Dhaka & National University, Tabulator of National University and so on. Mr. Hussain is known to be a subject specialist in Accounting.
Mr. A.M. Motaher Hossain
Mr. A.M. Motaher Hossain was born in Comilla in 1962. As an Agriculture Graduate he was awarded the degree in the year 1985 from one of the Asia's great agriculture Universities ' Bangladesh Agriculture University of Mymensingh. He also obtained a postgraduate diploma in planning with securing Grade - A from Academy for planning and development. As a senior cadre in information of the Bangladesh Civil Service he had to assumed responsibilities of various capacities. He could proved himself as one of the dynamic civil servants of this republic. Mr. Hossain took part in several training programs and study tour programs in home and abroad. He is involved with several social development initiatives including his active membership with Bangladesh Civil Service (Information).
Mr. Monowar Hossain, Ph.D
Mr. Monowar Hossain, Ph.D is one of the country's renowned economists worked for the World Bank for several years. A London School of Economics scholar Mr. Hossain was awarded his Ph.D degree in the year 1964 for his research on Econometrics. He, on the other hand, received his Bachelor (Hons.) and Masters degree in Statistics from Dhaka University. His professional employment includes Director, Institute of Statistical Research and Training (ISRT), Dhaka University; Research Fellow, Economics Department, Dhaka University; Economist, the World Bank, Washington D.C.; Chairman, Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS). He does have a huge national and international research exposure. He also got a good number of articles published in the national and international Journals. Mr. Hossain is actively involved with number of social development organizations including Institute of Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) where he holds the position of the Director of Economic Division.
